Let us sharpen and tune your precious woodworking  plane and give it a new lease of life:
Service includes:

• Clean and lubricate all fittings and moving parts
• Remove gently any surface rust without any damage to the metal surface
• Check for any damage and advise - repairs are possible subject to spares availability
• Flatten the back of the iron to mirror smoothness on diamond stones
• Regrind the bevel if needed and hone to razor sharp edge at recommended angles (advise if you want different).
• Refit and tune the cap iron
• Refit and adjust the frog, tuning the mating surfaces as necessary to ensure a secure seating.
• Check for sole flatness and advise if sole flattening is required.  There could be an additional charge for this depending upon the work required.
  

Turn around will be as rapid as possible but will depend upon the work required.  You will be kept fully informed.  If wooden handle repairs are required please ask for a quote.

Price is for the work above only, any spares required will be extra but you will be advised before any work is done.  You will need to ship the plane to me and delivery back will be extra depending upon the weight and size of the plane.
