Ginkgo biloba

One of the most fascinating trees in the world


Gingko biloba is the last representative of a very ancient line of gymnosperm trees, once widespread on all continents of the world.  Now  restricted to a small area in China and nearly extinct in its natural habitat it is one of those plants we are lucky still to have.  

I will be putting a lot of information here shortly but to start with here is a photograph of leaves from plants I grew from seed many years ago.
